In Texas if you were looking to remarry after a divorce, typically, the law requires that 30 days pass since the time of the divorce before you are allowed to get married again. An individual who is is looking to remarry within that 30 days after a divorce can seek a waiver of that provision of law. And an example where somebody might seek to waive that 30 days as if that prospective spouses getting ready to be deployed on a military deployment and it's going to be out of the country. And in instances like those, the 30 day waiting period can be waived for somebody to enter into a new marriage.
